The best Latino restaurant in LA! The owners have a warm welcoming approach ... the music is soulful, every plate is chef perfected, and if you enjoy charming (Latin America meets Europe) visit D'Cache!!

Great Place, Great Experience! Loved the atmosphere. Being there put me in a fantastic mood. Highly recommended!
- Mike P., Sherman Oaks

The place is fab! the parking area is even gorgeous. As we entered the "house" we were immediately attracted to the music (2 men on guitars, singing anything from bomboleo to hotel California). The food was amazing and well portioned. The wait staff was gracious and very helpful.

From the minute we walked in the door of this converted 1920's home, it was amazing. The service, the food the energy and the atmosphere, all fantastic.... The tapas and the main course were delicious and very thoughtfully prepared. I have already recommended D'Cache to a number of friends and they have very similar opinions. I look forward to going back repeatedly.

Truly as good as it gets in L.A. ... The Sangria AWESOME, the empanadas scrumpcious!!

"As a visitor from out of town, I was able to find this little jewel based upon other users' reviews. Expecting the location to be on the difficult side to find, I was actually surprised at how easily accessible it was in actuality. An extremely inexpensive valet service (around $4 I believe), makes this restaurant very convenient indeed.

"As we entered the location, we were greeted by a strikingly handsome waiter with an accent that would evoke a twinge of jealousy from any gringo. The interior of the restaurant is nothing short of exquisitely charming, with just the right ambience. The waiter sat us in perhaps the best location in the entire restaurant, right next to the stage set up for the live entertainment.

"As we perused the drink menus, he recommended the Sangria, a recommendation I strongly advise adherence to. By far the best Sangria I have ever tasted; you would be hard pressed to find its like this side of Sevilla.

"We started the meal with some empanadas that were very tasty, although they could have been served at a slightly higher temperature. We followed that course with Paella and cinnamon encrusted pork loin. The Paella was pure perfection; with the precise amount of ingredients in every bite (a previous reviewer claimed it to be the best in LA. While I can't vouch for this without having tasted Paella elsewhere in LA, I can state that it is the best I have had on the west coast). The pork loin, accompanied by puréed sweet potatoes, figs and a drizzled demi-glace made this dish an interestingly bold venture to say the least. Certain components were far too sweet when eaten alone, but put together with the perfectly cooked pork and you are left with a veritable symphonic explosion of flavors that meld magnificently. We finished off the dinner with a weakness of mine: tres leche cake. While not the greatest version of one of my favorite desserts of all time (the copious frosting layer was too sweet when coupled with the berry sauce), it was nonetheless a fantastic way to end the meal.

"Were that the finale to this dining experience, I would have ended the evening quite satisfied. Far be it for a diner at this establishment to leave merely satisfied, however. Enter the live entertainment for the night, an Argentinean band called Los Pinguos. The band started about an hour later than scheduled; a more than worthwhile wait as it turned out. So amazingly good they were, that I purchased two of their cd's and downloaded a third. So lost in the moment I was that I didn't notice how packed the place had become until half way through the set. Evoking emotions of utter happiness and contentment is about the best way for me to describe the power of Los Pinguos.

"In all, this was one the greatest dining experiences of my life. While I can't guarantee the entertainment will be as phenomenal every visit to D'Cache, the food, service and Sangria alone are well worth the visit."
